Broken Arrow Neighbors

Updated: Jan 31, 2022

We are pleased to share our final partner in our new Give Back Program. When you book at Greenleaf Barn, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the sponsored non-profit of your choosing. This one is near and dear to our hearts and located in our home town. Here's some more information about our current partnership with Broken Arrow Neighbors.

Broken Arrow Neighbors (BAN) was formed in 1983 through a group of local church congregations who desired to impact hunger in Broken Arrow. From this small food pantry, BAN gradually grew into a basic needs assistance agency offering food, financial assistance, medical, legal and dental clinics, school supplies, holiday assistance and outreach services.

"We believe that serving these individuals and families is a community responsibility. Our staff and volunteers, along with many community partners and donors, focus our efforts to ensure that BAN continues to provide food, financial assistance (limited), medical, dental and many other services to our neighbors in need through our mission of “assistance with dignity”." Broken Arrow Neighbors is an interfaith organization that provides basic needs emergency assistance to more than 11,000 financially disadvantaged people in the Broken Arrow area. They recognize that each individual or family represents a unique set of circumstances and structure their services to help each client they serve regain or maintain their desired level of self-sufficiency.

Broken Arrow Neighbors offers a variety of ways to become involved in community service. Whether you choose to participate in a food drive, donate financially or in-kind items, or give of your time and talents, there is an opportunity for anyone who desires to make a difference.
