This month, we launched our new Give Back Program. A portion of all Greenleaf Barn booking proceeds are now being donated to local non-profit organizations. If you book with us, you can choose from which of the three companies we are currently sponsoring and we will make a donation on your behalf. Here's some more information about our current partnership with The Stonebrook Project.
Their MISSION: Making a difference until there is a cure.
Their VISION: Beyond being a spa, Stonebrook Day Spa was designed to provide a sanctuary of relaxation, pain management, physical and emotion healing for cancer patients. Their GOAL: Save lives by meeting the needs of cancer patients as they fight for their life.
Edie Tolbert, Founder and CEO, is a 10 year breast cancer survivor. She knows first hand the effects of cancer and how it changed not only her life but her family. When she opened Stonebrook Day Spa, she knew that she would serve a bigger purpose; helping others through their fight. The Stonebrook Project launched in November 2017 and is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Funds raised through the nonprofit, will provide spa services to cancer patients, caregivers and fire fighters.
"Cancer doesn’t discriminate: female, male, adults and yes even children. Our youngest client was eight years old at the time and our oldest is in her 70’s. We see some once a month, some every two weeks and others weekly, depending on unique and individual needs. The services include massage therapy, reflexology, foot detox and yes even some nail services." Edie Tolbert.
The Stonebrook Project is committed to making a difference in the lives of their cancer patients as well as their caregivers.
