"We chose Greenleaf Barn for a few reasons; (1) the size of our event (baby shower) needed a large space for guests and décor, (2) the mother-to-be was married at Greenleaf and we loved the accommodations available at the facility, (3) the fact that we could rent by the hour instead of having to pay for a full day, (4) we could bring in our own food/drinks without having to use a predetermined contracted caterer."
"Our theme was to recreate the mother-to-be's nursery. We wanted for the guests to see the items that she would have in her nursery. The simplicity yet rich backdrop of the barn brought the colors and theme together beautifully."
"The colors were based on the colors the mother is using in her nursery. The table decorations were also functional as we wrapped pens and put them in a vase to create a centerpiece for the table, but allow the guests to have something to write with as we placed advice cards on the table for the guests to complete. We also placed 2 succulents on each table as decoration and taped a piece of paper to two of the chairs as a gift to 2 lucky guests at each table."
The mobile bar made the perfect drink station while the audio/video wall made a unique dessert station of tiered sweets.
